Menu plan week of 9/18

Yesterday we made lobster and corn chowder from the Barefoot Contessa’s recipe in Back to Basics.  It is a bit labor intensive but out of this world and a perfect thing to make in September when the lobster and corn are sweet.  Not only is this a great way to celebrate fall, it also means we have leftovers!  Here is the menu plan for the week:


Grilled Porterhouse steak, Mexican corn and sliced tomatoes


Chicken Arrabbiata and broccoli


Leftover lobster/corn chowder


Shrimp Creole pizza


Veal scaloppine with mushrooms
