Grocery list week of 8/31

Here is the grocery list for the week:

Produce

  • red potatoes (about 3 pounds)
  • dill
  • garlic
  • mushrooms
  • cherry tomatoes
  • red onion
  • tomatoes
  • arugula
  • scallions
  • basil
  • lemon

Dairy

  • eggs
  • Fontina cheese
  • low fat Greek yogurt
  • buttermilk (I actually have this on hand – I made Ina’s lemon pound cake yesterday.  Love the recipe as it makes two – one to enjoy now and one to freeze for another time.  We alternate between the orange and the lemon.)

Meat and seafood

  • sirloin steak cubes
  • Prosciutto
  • boneless, skinless chicken

Miscellaneous

  • ravioli (this got added to the plan because we saw some new fresh ravioli at Graul’s.  It looks really good – we are trying the exotic mushroom first)
  • marinara sauce (I buy Graul’s but any type you like)
  • pizza crust
  • pesto (I have homemade in freezer

Check pantry and buy if you don’t have:

  • soy sauce
  • Worcestershire
  • dry mustard
  • olive oil
  • red wine vinegar
  • lemon juice
  • rice
  • mayonnaise
