Asian grilled swordfish

My husband used to fix grilled salmon regularly in a marinade of ginger, garlic, soy sauce, oil and rice wine vinegar.  This is similar but slightly different.  It was a nice Sunday evening dinner – the swordfish is on sale at Graul’s, I marinated it before we went to play tennis and we were able to lounge by the pool after tennis and then come home to an easy dinner.  We served it with cous cous.

Grilled Asian Swordfish

  • 4 TB soy sauce
  • 4 TB canola or peanut oil
  • 1 lemon, zested and jiced
  • 2 TB finely chopped ginger
  • 2 gloves chopped garlic
  • 1 TB Dijon mustard
  • swordfish steaks

Whisk together first 6 ingredients.  Marinate swordfish steaks in mixture for 2 – 4 hours.  Grill on a hot grill for 5 minutes a side and then remove and cover with aluminum foil for 10 minutes.  Serve with cows cows.
