Recovery from the holiday hangover – menu plan week of 12/29

I feel like we have just had too much of everything (except sleep) – too much food, too much excitement and I’m ready for a return to normality.  I am craving salad after eating more beef and crab dip and cookies in the past week than I should have.  Here is the menu plan for the week:


Grilled California chopped salad


Grilled flank steak with mustard brussels sprouts


New Year’s Eve – Thai roasted chicken and drunken noodles with vegetables


Caesar salad with leftover flank steak


Warm mushroom arugula salad

    We have really enjoyed many of your recipes but the scalloped oysters were a huge hit. I could probably have tripled the recipe and it would not have been enough. I, too, needed something very green and used our remaining tenderloin for a salad with avocado and tomatoes. Many thanks for making life easier and so delicious for us.
