Grocery list week of 4/14

Here is the grocery list for the week:


  • spinach
  • arugula
  • lemon
  • tomatoes
  • lettuce
  • mushrooms (assorted – I bought some shiitake, button and cremini)
  • red onion
  • lime
  • red pepper
  • yellow pepper
  • avocado


  • Asiago cheese
  • Fontina cheese
  • shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • sour cream

Meat and seafood

  • 1 small salmon fillet per person
  • bacon
  • 1 boneless, skinless chicken breast per person

NOTE: We’ll get the shrimp later in the week.


  • 1 cup walnuts
  • fusilli
  • good bread (I bought Semolina Batard)
  • pizza shell
  • salsa
  • chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
  • 1 can black beans
  • 6 inch flour tortillas

Check your pantry and buy if you don’t have:

  • garlic
  • olive oil
  • anchovies
  • balsamic vinegar
  • Dijon mustard
  • Cajun seasoning
  • butter
