Grocery list week of 4/7

Here is the grocery list for the week:


  • fennel
  • brussels sprouts
  • onion (2)
  • fresh basil
  • lettuce for salads (I got mache and green leaf and will mix them)
  • tomatoes
  • 2 zucchini
  • celery
  • 1 cucumber
  • asparagus
  • shallots
  • lemons
  • red onion


  • a few slices of Pancetta
  • goat cheese (4 oz)
  • feta cheese
  • Parmesan cheese

Meat and Seafood

  • swordfish steak (1 for 2 people)
  • steak of your choice (I got a Porterhouse for us to split)
  • 1 boneless, skinless chicken breast per person


  • 1 28 oz can plum tomatoes
  • anchovies (optional in Italian salad)
  • pasta of your choice (I’m using oriecchette)
  • pesto
  • minced sundried tomatoes

Check your pantry and buy if you don’t have:

  • cous cous
  • olive oil
  • garlic
  • chicken stock
  • white wine
  • capers
  • butter
  • balsamic vinegar
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • mayonnaise
  • eggs
  • red wine vinegar
