Grocery list week of 1/6

Here is the grocery list for the week:

Produce

  • garlic
  • 3 onions
  • carrots
  • celery
  • lettuce
  • avocado
  • tomatoes
  • 1 eggplant
  • cherry tomatoes
  • butternut squash
  • parsnips
  • potato (I went with one sweet and one regular)

Dairy

  • butter
  • blue cheese
  • eggs
  • Parmesan cheese

Meat and seafood

  • 8 oz country ham (I’m using leftover Smithfield)
  • chicken
  • bacon
  • proscuitto or Smithfield ham

Miscellaneous

  • 1 lb split peas
  • chicken stock
  • frozen peas
  • pine nuts
  • pasta of your choice

Check your pantry and buy if you don’t have:

  • parsley
  • bay leaves
  • thyme
  • marjoram
  • cloves
  • flour
  • milk
  • olive oil
  • vinegar
  • lemon juice
  • Dijon mustard
  • red pepper flakes
